While Oppo is preparing to launch its ‘Find Nex’ smartphone next week, it seems to also be working on a couple of budget handsets too as they have appeared on Chinese certification website, Tenaa. The handsets sporting the model number PBAM00 and PBAT00 have been spotted on the website along with specifications and images, giving us a good idea of what the firm has up its sleeve. The new smartphones are also speculated to fall under the company’s budget ‘A’ series.
From the images it can be confirmed that the two smartphones will be featuring a dual rear camera setup and a metal unibody design. The volume buttons and SIM card slot can be seen on the left side while the power button is placed on the right side. It is also likely to have an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
As for the specifications, the handsets are expected to feature a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) FullView display along with 2.5D curved glass. Some of the other key specs mentioned are 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, 13MP+2MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. The device could be running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box skinned by company’s own ColorOS 5.0. A 4000mAh battery is also said to be in tow.In April, Oppo launched its A3 smartphone in China. The handset sports a diamond cut back panel design and is priced at CNY 2,099. Some of the key specs of the handset include 6.2-inch full HD+ display, octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB RAM, 16MP rear camera with f/1.8, 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 3400mAh battery.
For now, Oppo is gearing to unveil its Find X smartphone on June 19. The smartphone will be the latest addition to the Find series since 2014. It is also rumoured to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6.42-inch 2K display, 6GB RAM and dual rear cameras.
